As part of the Gas Power One Field Services team, FieldCore installs, maintains, and upgrades power generation equipment, enabling operators of the world’s energy infrastructure to provide more reliable and affordable energy. 

Job Summary:

The Immigration Director II creates and implements the global immigration strategy for FieldCore, OSS, and other teams within GE Vernova. This role leads a global team ensuring compliance with One Field Services & GE Vernova policies and processes, local and international laws, and regulations involving immigration documentation and procedure. Partners with leaders across One Field Services and GE Vernova, as well as external and internal stakeholders to develop standard operating processes and guidelines and provide guidance to resolve complex global immigration issues and assignments.   

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Define and establish Lean roadmap for global immigration with FieldCore policies and processes & apply Automation/AI to reduce non-value added tasks and time accordingly
  • Lead, develop, and coach global immigration team to include training, KPIs, ongoing feedback, etc.
  • Develop and deploy immigration service delivery model for businesses outside of OFS, where applicable
  • Participate in global operating reviews with CEO and Leadership Team(s) as required
  • Responsible for OVC spend in excess of $6 M
  • Develop and direct execution of global immigration procedures, practices, and programs
  • Train and provide supporting resources to internal and external stakeholders on global immigration processes and expectations
  • Drive a cost competitiveness profile with external suppliers ensuring overall readiness to service and compliance in everything we do
  • Implement Lean practices globally establishing standard work and daily management
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with Region General Managers, Region Operations management teams, General Counsel, and HR
  • Oversee all document collection and visa/work permit filing by immigration team
  • Manage global immigration escalations and provide support on complex requests as needed
  • Partner with Region Operations teams on project forecasting and planning to provide appropriate support levels needed to meet requests
  • Identify, track, and communicate key metrics aligned with business drivers
  • Travel may be required
  • Manage and develop employees
  • May be assigned other duties to help proactively drive our One Field Services vision and align with our organization’s core values.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in related field
  • 12+ years progressive experience and demonstrated success/knowledge
  • 7+ years managing and developing employees
  • 6+ years of experience with international mobility processes including but not limited to experience with immigration, visa, and relocation requirements 
  • English proficiency required

Compensation and Benefits:

The annual salary range for this position is $137,600 to $231,200.  This is an exempt from overtime position.  FieldCore benefits include insurance (medical, dental, vision, disability, and life), retirement savings, health and Wellness reimbursement, and a bonus or incentive program.  Eligibility for FieldCore benefits is determined under the terms of the applicable benefits plan.
